I am going thru the
exact same thing with the exception that I knew they had their insurance on the account but in my ignorance I did not know that their insurance was not the same as insurance that I would get own my own (I was just trying to send all the money to one place-
car payment and insurance) and learned 3 years later that none of my payments were going toward my car and now I am $13,000 upside down, the car's transmission died after 3 yrs and 54,000 miles (virtually unheard of per the mechanics) can't get a
new car because of the negative equity and can not get a hold of anyone at Regional to discuss loan options to see if there is anything that can be done to help me out. I am more than willing to work with them but all of the phone numbers lead to a dead end with the exception of those who call to collect payment and they don't offer any options either. It *** to pay $600/month on a 2005 Mercury Sable not running because of the transmission and can't get a new one because of the $13,000 negative equity that would roll over into a new one. Maybe God is trying to humble me and I should start walking where I need to go. I just wish I could get a hold of someone outside of the people who call for payments.

I am also being screwed over by Regional! They tacked on 2 insurance policies over the almost 4 years since I bought my car...my payment went up 100 dollars a month and the balance is not coming down at all!!!! I borrwed $9000 after 4 years of payments I still owe $6904!!! I have already payed $10,000 on this loan. I can seem to get them to explain to me where the *** my money is going!! I am contacting the Better Business Bureau and whoever else I need to to stop them from ripping me off and bugging me 20 times per week for another payment after I just made one!!
